​Dr. Dario Assante is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO in Rome, Italy. He earned his Laurea degree with honors in Electrical Engineering in 2002 and subsequently obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 2005, both from the University of Naples Federico II. ​livedna.net+1IAES Journal+1researchgate.net+2ieeexplore.ieee.org+2IAES Journal+2

Prior to joining UNINETTUNO in 2009, Dr. Assante served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Sannio and the University of Naples Parthenope, where he taught courses in Circuit Theory and Electrical Engineering. At UNINETTUNO, he is responsible for teaching Electrical Engineering courses to undergraduate students in Computer Engineering and Engineering Management programs. Dr. Assante's research interests are primarily focused on electromagnetic modeling. His work encompasses the study of lightning phenomena and the evaluation of induced overvoltages on transmission lines, electromagnetic modeling of particle accelerator cavities, analysis of high-speed interconnects, electromagnetic compatibility and shielding, and electromagnetic modeling in the biomedical field. He has actively participated in numerous national and international research projects since 2002, contributing both research expertise and organizational skills. In addition to his research activities, Dr. Assante serves as the Academic Coordinator for Erasmus and Erasmus Mundus programs at UNINETTUNO, facilitating international academic exchanges and collaborations.
