Aysel Hasanlı is an Azerbaijani educational leader who actively serves on the Organizing Committees of both the ITECX Academic Congress and the ITECX College Congress, and is the CEO of the Baku Modern Educational Complex (BMEC). Known for her strong leadership, innovative vision, and strategic management skills, Hasanlı has made significant contributions to the advancement and implementation of international education standards in Azerbaijan. As CEO of BMEC, she has played a key role in enhancing the school’s international profile. Under her leadership, the institution received official accreditation as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School on June 26, 2023. The school operates as a co-educational day school offering instruction in both English and Azerbaijani. Students follow the IB curriculum, which includes subjects such as mathematics, biology, physics, Spanish, German, and Russian. Aysel Hasanlı places particular importance on international academic cooperation. Her areas of expertise include exercise and sport physiology, sports nutrition, training science, and movement sciences. She has published 59 international articles indexed in Scopus and other databases, as well as 11 book chapters, and has supervised numerous master's and doctoral theses. Dr. Pancar has taken part in TÜBİTAK-funded research projects and has served as an editor for the Gaziantep University Journal of Sports Sciences, in addition to acting as a reviewer for various academic journals. She was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2023. Within the university, she also holds several administrative roles, including Erasmus Coordinator, Faculty Board Member, and membership in the Quality and Addiction Prevention Commissions. In recognition of her open-access publications, she received the Publication Incentive Award from Gaziantep University in 2023.
